Overview: The Sony ULT WEAR Wireless Over-ear Headphones (WH-ULT900N/B) accentuate the bass with the ULT POWER SOUND. The lightweight headphones are comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time. You can securely connect to your mobile device with built-in Bluetooth 5.2, or plug into your source device with the included cable when you can\’t go wireless. The ULT WEAR headphones also come with a USB-C charging cable, and fold flat for storage in the included carrying case.

Noise Cancelling: The ULT WEAR headphones feature Noise Cancelling to block external ambient noise, so you hear more of your music and less of the world around you. With two microphones in each earcup and Dual Noise Sensors, ambient noise is captured and blocked, so you hear only your music.

Ambient Sound Mode: When you wish to remain aware of your surroundings while wearing the headphones, you can activate the Ambient Sound Mode. You might activate the mode when you wish to hear a public announcment (airport/train station) or when walking or riding along the street (traffic sounds). Ambient Sound Mode utilizes the same microphones used for Noise Cancellation, but amplifies and mixes the ambient noise as well as the music or phone call you\’re listening to.

ULT Power Sound: The ULT900N features ULT POWER SOUND with two ULT modes to choose from. Each press of the Bass Control Function (ULT button) on the left earcup, you cycle through the following modes: ULT1 emphasizes the deep low frequencies; ULT2 delivers ultra-bass, with even more bass sounds than ULT1.

Bluetooth 5.2: The WH-ULT900N/B has Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless listening from your
smartphone, tablet, or Bluetooth music player. The headphones are compatible
with A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, and HSP profiles, and feature SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs
for enhanced wireless sound quality. LDAC is developed by Sony and enables the transmission of High-Resolution audio over a Bluetooth connection. It allows approximately three times more data to be transmitted wirelessly to provide better sound quality. The headphones support Multipoint connections, allowing you to pair two Bluetooth devices simultaneously (for example, your phone and laptop) and easily switch between them. The Bluetooth
wireless range is approximately 30 feet.

Touch Controls: The right earcup has a touch sensitive area that is sensitive to tap and swipe actions to control music playback and phone calls. During music playback, you can tap the touch panel for play/pause, swipe horizontally for skip forward or backward, and swipe vertically to raise or lower the volume. When a call comes in, you can tap the touch panel to answer and end a call.

Voice Guidance: The WH-ULT900N/B features Voice Guidance that confirms when certain functions are activated or the headphone status changes. Voice Guidance can be heard when you power on/off, pair or unpair with a Bluetooth device, turn on/off the noise cancelling function or Ambient Sound Mode, or need the battery level status. The default Voice Guidance language is English.

Passive Operation: The headphones offer a passive option for those times when you can\’t listen wirelessly or the built-in battery is exhausted. Simply plug the included 4\’ cable into your source device and the headphones, and you can listen without worry. You can enjoy the Noise Cancelling and Ambient Sound modes when the headphones are turned on. If the headphones are turned off, the onboard controls are disabled.

DSEE: Sony\’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) is used
to makes your compressed audio files sound better. When audio files are
compressed, much of the high-frequency sounds are lost, making your music sound
flat and lifeless. DSEE restores both high-frequency signals and fine fade-out
sound, giving your music a more natural and expansive quality.

Voice Assistant: You can access your favorite Voice Assistant directly through the headphones. The ULT WEAR headphone is compatible with both Alexa and Google Assistant, as well the voice assistant that comes with your smartphone (Siri or Google app). Using the built-in microphone, you can connect to your smartphone\’s voice assistant access entertainment and information, listen to music, set reminders, get notifications, and connect with friends, all with the power of your voice.

Rechargeable Battery: The Sony ULT WEAR over-ear headphones are equipped
with a 3.85-volt Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery to power the Bluetooth wireless
functions. The battery fully charges in approximately 3.5 hours via USB using the
included USB-C cable and a commercially-available USB adapter with an output of 0.5A to 2.6A. With a 10-minute Quick Charge, you can get about 5
hours of music playback. A 3-minute Quick Charge gives you about 90 minutes of music playback. Battery life estimates with each Codec and Noise Cancelling Modes are:

Sony Sound Connect App: The Sony Sound Connect (formerly Headphones Connect app
gives you control over the sound of your headphones right on your smartphone or
tablet. In the app, you can select one of two Sound Quality Modes: one with a priority on sound quality, and the other with a priority on a stable connection. Several other settings and features can be accessed through the Sony Sound Connect app. You can also download any available firmware updates in the app. The Sony Sound Connect app is
compatible with iOS devices (iOS 16.0 or later) and Android devices (version varies with device).

360 Reality Audio: The WH-ULT900N/B is compatible with 360 Reality Audio which turns stereo listening into an immersive, spherical surround experience. When listening with headphones, music plays inside your head. With 360 Reality Audio, the music sounds like it\’s surrounding your head from multiple points. You can experience 360 Reality Audio with your smartphone, the ear buds, and a subscription to a compatible music streaming service, such as Deezer, Nugs.net, and Tidal.
