Overview: The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro (SM-R510) are advanced, lightweight ear buds that feature dynamic two-way speakers for balanced sound for your music and phone calls. The ear buds offer many features, such as Active Noise Cancellation, Ambient Sound, and intuitive touch controls, that help you to enjoy your favorite music, podcasts, games, and audiobooks. The Buds2 Pro are designed to work with other Galaxy (Samsung) devices, including the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy smartphones and tablets. While generally compatible via Bluetooth with other devices, the ear buds offer many Galaxy-specific features through the Galaxy Wearable app (Android only). The Galaxy Buds2 Pro come with a hard, clamshell charging case, and three pairs of silicone ear tips to help you find a custom fit for the best listening experience.

Drivers: Unlike many other earbuds, the Galaxy Buds2 Pro have two-way dynamic drivers for a wide frequency response. The 10mm woofer is designed to provide booming bass, while the 5.3mm tweeter gives you crystal clear treble.

Water Resistant: The Galaxy Buds2 Pro are rated IPX7 for water resistance which allows you to use the earbuds in inclimate weather without worry. They are protected from immersion in depths of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. The charging case is not water-resistant.

Microphones: The Galaxy Buds2 Pro are equipped with three high SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) microphones–two on the outside and one on the inside. The outside mics detect ambient noise for the Active Noise Cancelling feature while the inside mic and the built-in Voice Pickup Unit are focused on your voice for clearer phone calls.

Noise Control Modes: The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro feature two noise control modes that can be activated using onboard controls or the Galaxy Wearable app. You can only activate the noise controls when wearing both earbuds.

• Intelligent Active Noise Cancelling (ANC): Active Noise Cancelling blocks out the external sounds around you so you can listen to music without distractions. The outer microphones pick up ambient noise and the ANC circuitry cancels it with an opposite audio signal. The ANC feature can reduce background noise by up to 98%, so you can stay focused on your content.
• Ambient Sound Mode: The Ambient Sound Mode lets you hear your surroundings clearly for convenience or for your safety. The ANC microphones pick up external sounds and routes them into the ear buds to let you hear what\’s going on around you. Ambient Sound Mode is helpful when walking in traffic, for carrying on a conversation, or listening for public announcements at the airport or train station. You can adjust the level of the ambient sound in the Wearable app.

Voice Detect: When you start talking, the Voice Detect feature automatically turns off ANC, activates Ambient Sound, and lowers the volume of your media playback so you can carry on a personal conversation without removing your earbuds. The feature can be enabled in the Galaxy Wearable app to make conversations easier to hear and understand.

Touch Controls: The exterior of the Galaxy Buds2 Pro has a touch-sensitive area for controlling your phone calls and music playback. Simple actions such as touch and touch and hold allow you to play/pause your music, answer/end phone calls, and activate a preset feature, such as Noise Control Modes. In the Galaxy Wearable app, you can configure all of the touch controls to your liking. If you are afraid of unintended actions, you can lock the earbuds\’ touch features in the Wearable app.

Galaxy Wearable App: The Galaxy Wearable app lets you connect your Galaxy Buds2 Pro to other devices in the Galaxy universe, including smartphones, tablets, Galaxy Watch, even Samsung TVs. After installing the app on your mobile device, you can pair all of your devices via Bluetooth to enjoy all of its features. The app lets you seamlessly switch between devices without having to disconnect and re-pair. To ensure the best sound quality, you should perform the Earbud Fit Test found in the app. The app\’s Equalizer lets you shape the sound the way you want with six EQ presets: Normal, Bass Boost, Soft, Dynamic, Clear, and Treble Boost. You can also use the app to configure the touch controls for each earbud. The Galaxy Wearable app is specifically designed for Samsung Galaxy devices using Android 5.0 and up.

Bixby Voice Assistant: The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro are compatible with Bixby, the voice-activated user interface native to many Samsung devices. Bixby can be launched via a touch-and-hold action on the earbud\’s touch pad, or through a "Hi, Bixby!" voice command. Bixby is capable of launching a variety of functions, or show information you want on the connected mobile device, when the command/request is recognized through the earbuds. The earbuds have a basic compatibility to the Google Assistant if using a non-Samsung Android device. They are not compatible with Siri on Apple devices.

Samsung Seamless Codec: The Galaxy Buds2 Pro supports uninterrupted high-quality streaming and high-resolution audio at 24-bit/96kHz on select Samsung devices using the Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC). The codec works with multiple devices simultaneously, including Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The earbuds also support SBC and AAC codecs.

360 Audio: If used with Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets with Android One UI v.4.1.1 or later, you can enjoy 360 Audio with its realistic multi-channel, three-dimensional feel. Dolby Atmos® adds extra dimensions to the sound while Dolby Head Tracking™ technology follows your head movements, ensuring you\’re always in the center of the action.

SmartThings Find: The SmartThings Find feature on Samsung Galaxy devices with Android 8 and up helps you to find your Galaxy Buds2 Pro when they get lost. The built-in location detection feature can show your buds\’ location on a map. Even if the batteries have run out, SmartThings Find can provide their last connected location. SmartThings Find even works with or without the case. Another feature of SmartThings Find lets you know when you\’re about to leave your earbuds behind. When the feature is enabled, your phone will send you a notification when you become separated from the earbuds.

Battery Power: Each Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro earbud has a built-in 61mAh Lithium-ion rechargeable battery, while the Charging Case is rated at 515mAh. The charging case charges via the included USB cable (USB-C on both ends) in approximately 125 minutes, and the earbuds charge in 75 minutes inside the case. The case can also charge wirelessly on a Qi-compatible wireless charging pad or a Samsung smartphone that features Wireless PowerShare. Playback and talk times with a full charge are as follows:
