Overview: The CORE Monitoring Kit from Caregiver Smart Solutions lets you check on your loved ones, even when you can\’t be there in person. The Monitoring Kit includes the technology that lets your aging family members maintain their independence without imposing on their privacy. The kit includes small, non-intrusive sensors that discreetly track your loved one\’s movement and patterns to reassure family members and care givers, all without video cameras, listening devices, or wearable tracking devices. The Monitoring Kit\’s smart hub uploads the data to the Caregiver Smart Solutions app on your smartphone. The Monitoring Kit requires a monthly subscription, with an option for third-party monitoring services.

Smart Wi-Fi Hub: The Smart Hub pulls together the data from all of the connected sensors and streams it to the Caregiver Smart Solutions app through your loved one\’s Wi-Fi network. The Smart Hub is powered via USB power, using the included AC adapter and 41" USB power cable. Dimensions: Diameter 3.545", Height 1.288", Weight 2.75 ounces.

Kit Contents: The CORE Monitoring Kit contains thirteen wireless, non-invasive sensors that monitor various aspects of daily living and activity. The sensors can track movements, monitor room occupancy, detect falls, and assess general well-being through activity patterns. The data from the sensors is analyzed and relayed in real time to the caregiver\’s smartphone, alerting them of any potential issues or emergencies. In addition, Emergency Buttons are included to allow you loved one to reach out in case of a health or safety emergency. The included wireless sensors include:

• Movement Sensors: Four wireless movement sensors are included to help you monitor your loved one\’s well-being and activity level. Sensors should be placed in key areas of the home, such as the bedroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, and bathroom. The movement sensor is powered by a CR2450 3-volt Lithium cell. • Temperature/Humidity Sensor: The wireless Temperature and Humidity Sensor alerts you if the temperature in the room is too hot or too cold. It can also detect if a pot has been left on the stove, or if there is a potential fire. If placed in the bathroom, it can also let you know if they are taking frequent baths/showers. The Temperature/Humidity Sensor is powered by a CR2450 3V Lithium cell. Dimensions: Diameter 1.219", Height 0.62"; Weight 0.5 ounces.
• Door/Drawer Sensors: Four two-piece Door/Drawer Sensors are included for monitoring the opening and closing of cabinets, drawers, refrigerators, and entry doors. This can help you monitor if your loved one is taking their meds, has gone down to the basement, or has left a door open. The sensor includes a magnet and sensing unit which are placed on opposite sides of the door, cabinet, window, or drawer. In the closed position, the magnet and sensing unit are interacting. When the door, cabinet, or drawer is opened, the sensing unit reacts to the absence of the magnetic field and sends an alert. The Door/Drawer Sensor is powered by a CR1632 3-volt Lithium cell. • Emergency Buttons: Three wireless Emergency Buttons provide added peace of mind that your loved one can press the button in case of an urgent need for help. The bright red Emergency buttons can be placed in prominent places, such as the kitchen, bedroom, or living room. The Emergency Buttons are powered by a CR2450 3V Lithium cell. Optional Sensor Kits: If you need additional sensors for your Caregiver Monitoring Kit, you can buy them individually or in a multi-item kit:

• Basement Kit: If your loved one frequently goes down to the basement, you can monitor their safety while down there. The kit includes four Movement Sensors, one Door Sensor, and one Emergency Button.
• Garage Kit: To monitor your loved one\’s safety in the garage, the Garage Kit includes two Door Sensors and one Movement Sensor.
• Stair Kit: If your loved one has difficulty climbing or descending stairs, you can monitor their safety with the Stair Kit. The kit includes two Movement Sensors.
• Individual Sensors: The following individual sensors are available to add to your Smart Hub Monitoring Kit: Movement Sensor, Emergency Button, Temperature/Humidity Sensor, and Door/Drawer Sensor.

Monthly Subscription: The Caregiver Smart Solutions requires a monthly subscription of $69.00 with the purchase of the CORE Monitoring Kit. An additional $9.99 monthly fee applies if you opt for third-party monitoring services. With the purchase of additional individual Sensors or Sensor Kits, additional subscription fees may apply.

Caregiver Smart Solutions App: The Caregiver Smart Solutions app (iOS 11.0+, Android 7.0+) lets the caregiver monitor the movements and activities of their loved ones. In the app, you can determine if they are moving around, taking their medicine, eating regularly, leave the refrigerator door open, leave the front door open, take a shower or bath, and when they go to bed or wake up. The app has a summary page for their loved one that includes the indoor temperature and humidity, the number of times they\’ve opened the refrigerator, and the last time they entered a particular room. Additional sensors can be paired with the Hub, and you can give custom names for each sensor for easy identification. Alerts and notifications are sent in real time to your smartphone so you can be aware of any out-of-the-ordinary events. The battery status of each connected sensor is reported in the app, so you\’ll know when to change the batteries.
