Overview: The Lorex 4K Dual-Lens Wi-Fi Security Camera (Model W891UAD-E) is an advanced security camera for watching over your property day or night. The dual lenses give you a full 180° panoramic view of your property. It offers Dual-Band Wi-Fi so your live images and recorded videos can be viewed in smooth, clear 4K resolution. The camera comes with over 19 feet of cable, and runs on DC power through the supplied USB power adapter. The camera stores your recorded videos locally on the inserted 32 GB microSD card, so you don\’t need to spend money on cloud storage. The camera is compatible with Amazon Alexa and the Google Assistant. Camera dimensions: Width 3.948", Height 3.147", Depth 6.872"; Weight 27.8 ounces.

Camera: The 4K Dual-Lens Wi-Fi Camera has a 1/2.8" CMOS image sensor with 7.6 effective megapixel resolution (2 x 5MP overall). It produces 4K video with a resolution of 4096 x 1856 at 15 fps and 20:9 aspect ratio. It has HDR (High Dynamic Range) for more realistic images.

Dual Lenses: The camera has dual 2.1mm f/1.6 lenses whose images are internally merged using Image Stitching Technology to create one continuous 180° panoramic view. This allows you to monitor a much larger area with fewer cameras. During setup, you can adjust the vertical alignment of the right image to create a more realistic view.

Installation Tips: The camera should be installed approximately 10 feet above the ground and at a downward angle between 15° and 30°. This gives you a motion detection zone approximately 22 to 65 feet from the camera. Because of the wide field-of-view, the camera should be installed in a wide, open space with no obstructions.

Color Night Vision: The camera is equipped with high powered Infrared LEDs (850mm) to enable the camera to record video in the dark or low light conditions. Night Vision switches between color and IR-based black-and-white based on the amount of ambient light available. The Night Vision range is 32 feet (10 meters) in total darkness (0 lux).

Spotlights: Two bright LED spotlights on the camera illuminate your property. The spotlights can be turned on or off manually, or activated automatically when motion is detected.

Smart Security Lighting: On the front of the camera is a customizable LED light band to indicate preset camera status modes or for different motion events. In the Lorex app (formerly Lorex Home), you can assign any color (up to 16.7 million options) to different settings, including "Welcome" or "Panic Mode." The Smart Security Light can be used to greet guests when they arrive or deter unwanted visitors when they trigger the motion sensor.

Dual-Band Wi-Fi: The 4K Dual-Lens Wi-Fi Security Camera connects to you home\’s Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n/ac) over both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands. Dual-Band Wi-Fi offers wider bandwidths and faster speeds than basic Wi-Fi, so your videos play back smoother and upload faster.

Memory: The Wi-Fi camera has an inserted 32 GB microSD memory card for safely storing recorded videos. You can upgrade the card to a maximum of 256 GB for more storage capacity. With local storage, there\’s no need to pay a monthly fee for cloud-based storage.

Smart Motion Detection: The 4K Dual-Lens Wi-Fi Security Camera offers Smart Motion Detection to alert you of activity around your home. Smart Motion Detection uses In-Camera Edge AI technology and advanced algorithms to analyze and identify specific types of motion and push specific motion alerts to your smartphone. The camera can send Person Alerts, Vehicle Alerts, or Pet Alerts when they are identified. In addition, you can enable Package Detection that alerts you when you have a package at your doorstep or if a package has been removed.

Two-way Audio: The camera features a microphone and a speaker that enable two-way communication. With the Lorex app, you can talk and listen to the person on the camera. If you are busy, you can use an appropriate preset Quick Response.

Siren: The camera has an extra level of deterrence with a remote-triggered 110dB siren. The siren can be manually triggered from the Lorex app to scare away uninvited visitors.

Mounting: The 4K Dual-Lens Wi-Fi Security Camera can be mounted indoors or outdoors with the included bracket. The bracket features a swiveling mount that lets you aim the camera where you want and lock it down. It can be installed in a wide variety of places and conditions. The camera has an IP66 weather-resistance rating, and can withstand a variety of weather conditions and temperatures. It can operate in a temperature range of -4°F to +122°F (-20°C to 50°C).

Power: The camera has a long power cable (19\’+) and operates on DC power (12VDC, 0.55A, 6.6W) from the supplied USB adapter. Four screw-down clips are included for cable management.

Lorex App: The Lorex app (formerly Lorex Home) gives you easy access to recordings on your Lorex security camera or video doorbell. When your camera detects motion, you will receive an instant motion alert notification on your smartphone, allowing you to view live video on your device. Using the app, you can see and respond to a person at your door or on your property using two-way talk. The app lets you configure advanced motion detection functions and system settings. Access to your cameras and security system can be shared with family or friends, if desired. The Lorex app is compatible with Apple iPhone and iPod touch with iOS 10.0 or later. It also works with Apple TV (requires tvOS 9.0 or later) and a Mac with macOS 11.0 or later and Apple M1 chip or later. The app is also compatible with Android devices running version 5.0 and up.

Voice Assistants: The Lorex 4K Dual-Lens Wi-Fi camera can be linked with Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant. Smart displays, such as the Google Nest Hub or the Amazon Echo Show, will show you the view from your camera or video doorbell with a voice command.
