Overview: The NuvōMed Smart Portable EKG Monitor (PM10) provides a real-time display of your EKG signals and your heart rate. The monitor has multiple built-in leads, and there are several methods for taking measurements. You results are displayed on the monitor, and stored in the unit\’s memory. Your data can be uploaded to your computer via USB, or to your smartphone via Bluetooth, and can be shared with others. The PM10 device is powered by a rechargeable battery, and comes with a 10" Micro USB charging cable.

Methods of Measurement: The NuvōMed EKG Monitor is equipped with multiple leads in the form of metal contacts on the top and bottom edges of the device. This allows you to take measurements hand-to-hand (Lead I), on your chest (Lead IV), wrist, or foot (Leads II and III). When measurement begins, the unit will display a pre-sample interface with the heart rate and EKG waveform displayed. When the waveform becomes stable, the device will start formal sampling and the timer will begin to countdown until the sample is complete (10, 15, or 30 seconds as preset). The display switches to the Case Review interface which shows the date, time, and heart rate of the sample, along with previous cases in a list below. It you continue holding the electrodes at both ends of the device, it will enter sampling mode again. If you have removed the device from touching your skin, you can view the summary of the sample, or view the complete EKG waveform. After one minute of no operation, the monitor will automatically shut off.

Rechargeable Battery: The Portable EKG Monitor is powered by a built-in 3.7-volt rechargeable battery. The battery charges via USB in about two hours, and provides approximately two hours of battery life. It has an estimated life of 200 charging cycles, or approximately 3 years, depending on use. The device has a segmented battery icon on the display that shows the current battery status: Full, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, and Empty. No measurements can be taken while the battery is charging. To save battery life, the device will automatically shut off after one minute of no operations.

Downloading Data: Software is available for Windows 8/10 and Mac for downloading readings and setting device parameters. Data is transferred from the monitor via the Micro-B USB cable. You can also transfer your readings to your iOS or Android smartphone via Bluetooth through the NuvōMed EKG App.

NuvōMed EKG App: The companion NuvōMed EKG App lets you download and view your EKG readings and share them with your doctor. A summary of each reading is shown in list form with Date/Time of the reading, heart rate, duration of measurement, and notes. You can view the EKG waveform on the following page, if desired. The app also lets you setup the device, choosing the Language (Chinese, English, Italian, French, Polish, and German), the length of measurement (10, 15, or 30 seconds), and Sound Control (on or off). The NuvōMed EKG App is available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch running iOS 13.0 or later, and for Android devices with version 5.0 and up.
