Overview: The Philips Hue Iris is a "plug-n-play" LED table lamp that can instantly add color or set a mood to a room or space. As part of the White and Color Ambiance series, the Iris can produce up to 16-million colors, or variations from warm white (2000 K) to cool daylight (6500 K). You can control the Iris via Bluetooth in a single room, or pair with a Hue Bridge for whole house and voice control. The Iris is a self-contained device, and comes with a 78" power cord and AC adapter.

Design: The Iris has a 7" diameter lens which is
aimed upwards at a 45° angle. The spherical rear portion of the lamp has a small 2" circular flat area on the bottom that allows it to be placed on a flat surface.
The 78" power cord lets you place it almost anywhere there\’s an AC
outlet. The light can be aimed into the room or onto a wall to paint
the room with light or to highlight architectural features. The Iris is
recommended for indoor use only.

Philips Hue App: The Philips Hue app, when used with the Hue Bridge, gives you full home control of your Philips Hue lights. Within the full Hue Lighting System, you can set timers and schedules, control lights away from home, set wake-up and go-to-sleep routines, and sync the lights to your music, movies, and video games. Additional Hue products
can be added to the system, up to a maximum of 50 bulbs and 12 Hue accessories that can be controlled by a single
bridge. Bluetooth control has been incorporated into the Philips Hue app, allowing control of up to 10 Bluetooth-compatible Hue products from within the room. The app is available for Apple devices running iOS 14.0 or later, or for Android devices running Android 10 and up.

Bluetooth Control: The lamp is Bluetooth-compatible, allowing you to control the light from the room without the Hue Bridge. Up to 10 Bluetooth-enabled lights can be controlled from your smartphone or tablet from up to 30 feet away. You can turn the lights on or off, dim or brighten the bulb, and apply Light "recipes" for everyday tasks. You can even control them with your voice through the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. Bluetooth control requires the Philips Hue app.

Voice Control: The Iris can be controlled by voice commands through your favorite Voice Assistant. The lightstrip is compatible with Siri (Apple HomeKit), Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant.

Accessories: The Iris table lamp can be controlled with the optional Hue Dimmer Switch or the Hue Motion Sensor (both sold separately). The handheld Dimmer Switch can turn on/off and dim or brighten the lamp. It can also cycle through pre-selected light scenes. The Motion Sensor can be programmed to automatically turn the Iris on or off when motion is detected. It can also control the lamp with its ambient light sensor capability, changing the color or intensity of the lights according to the amount of light in the room.
