Overview: The Braava jet® m6 (m611020) from iRobot is a Wi-Fi-connected robot mop for large, whole-home mopping and sweeping. With its Precision Jet Spray, Braava jet can clean finished hard floor surfaces, including tile, stone, vinyl, linoleum, and hardwoods. The robot mop learns the layout of your home, including obstacles, to create Smart Maps of each room. As it mops, Braava jet travels in neat, straight rows to clean up sticky messes. When it\’s not at work, Braava jet docks itself in its Home Base to recharge its battery. The iRobot Home App can customize your cleaning schedule, while voice assistants Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant let you start cleaning with a simple voice command. The m6 comes with the Home Base with a drip tray, a variety of cleaning pads, and sample pouches of cleaning solution.

Smart Cleaning Power: The Braava jet m6 is designed to clean messes in specific areas, or an entire room. The mop\’s Maximized-Edge Design effectively cleans along walls and in corners. It uses vSLAM® navigation and Imprint™ Smart Mapping to clean your floors in neat, straight rows, while learning your home\’s floor plan. This allows you to control which rooms are cleaned, and determine a cleaning schedule. With each cleaning job, Braava jet learns more about the layout of each room. Once the m6 has learned your space, and you have labeled the rooms, you can use the iRobot Home app to direct the robot mop to clean one or more specific rooms, or your entire home. Using the app, you can customize specific target areas to clean (such as under the dining room table), or Keep Out Zones (near your pet\’s feeding bowls).

Imprint Link™: If you own a Braava jet m6 and a compatible Roomba Robot Vacuum, you can use Imprint Link technology to use both robots together in a single cleaning job. When you initiate a Linked Cleaning in the iRobot Home App, the Braava will begin mopping your floors immediately after the Roomba has completed its vacuuming job and returned to its base. Imprint Link works with the Braava jet m6 and Roomba i-, s-, j-, or 900-series robot vacuums. Some vacuums also allow you to choose specific rooms to clean.

Cleaning Pads: The m6 comes with disposable Wet Mopping and Dry Sweeping pads, and a reusable Microfiber cleaning pad. Depending on which pad type is attached, Braava jet intuitively knows which cleaning method to select. The Wet Mopping pads feature wicking fibers to help break up kitchen grease, grime, and sticky messes. The Precision Jet Spray loosens dirt and sticky messes without spraying furniture, rugs, or walls. When you add Braava jet Hard Floor Cleaning Solution, the m6 adds a long-lasting fresh scent. The Dry Sweeping pad uses static electricity to pick up dust, dirt, and pet hair without the spray. The Microfiber Cleaining Pad is designed to be used over and over, and can be washed up to 500 times.

Cleaning Solution: Included with the Braava jet m6 are two 2-ounce samples of Bona® Floor Cleaning Concentrate. The Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner cleans hardwood floors gently and effectively without leaving any residue. It is safe for wood floors, including unwaxed, unoiled, and polyurethane-finished wood floors. Bona Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner works with stone, tile, laminates, vinyl, and linoleum floors. Two ounces of Bona Floor Cleaner Concentrate (one sample pouch), combined with 13 ounces of water, will fill the Braava jet m6\’s tank. Ready-to-use Bona Hardwood and Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner solutions (not concentrate) are available at many major retailers.

Charging Station: Included with the Braava jet m6 is the Home Base charging station where the robot mop charges its battery and stores when not in use. The charging station should be placed in an area with no obstacles within 1.5 feet to either side, or within 4 feet in front. To prevent the robot from falling downstairs, the charging station should be placed at least 4 feet from stairs. The charging station plugs into an AC outlet via its removable power cord.

Power: The Braava jet m6 is powered by a user-replaceable Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The battery fully charges in approximately 2 hours while docked in the charging station. Initially, the battery should be charged at least 3 hours. A fully charged battery lasts approximately 75 minutes. The m6 supports Smart Recharge and Resume. When the battery is running low, the robot mop returns to the charging station to recharge enough to complete the job, then picks up where it left off, until the task is complete. The battery should last up to 400 charge cycles before being replaced with a new battery obtained from the manufacturer.

Wi-Fi: The Braava jet m6 connects to your home\’s 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi network. You can control it with the iRobot Home app on your smartphone or tablet.

iRobot Home App: The iRobot Home app is essential to the operation of the Braava jet m6. With the app loaded to your smartphone or tablet, you can choose when and where to clean, and create custom cleaning schedules. When cleaning is complete, you can view a Cleaning Report in the app, showing the date and time of the cleaning job, the length/duration, and total area (square feet) cleaned. The app learns your scheduling preferences, and can even suggest extra cleanings during peak pollen season, or when your pets typically shed the most. iRobot Genius Software updates are available through the app, and can be downloaded to the Braava. These updates can add new features, as well as fix bugs, and keep it up to date. The iRobot Home app works with iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 13.0 or later, and with iPad with iPadOS 13.0 or later. It is also compatible with Android devices (version varies with device).

Voice Assistants: The Braava jet m6 can be operated by voice command through your favorite Voice Assistant. You can ask Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to ask the m6 to start cleaning, and the robot mop will begin a cleaning cycle.
