Overview: The Sennheiser HD 620S headphones (700401), the latest in the HD 600-series of premium over-ear headphones, features a closed-back design with an open-back sound. The headphones feature reinforced stainless steel earcups that naturally block out distracting external noise and prevent sound leakage outside of the earcup. The angled transducers and open baffle give you a more natural, detailed sound that replicates the imaging of a pair of loudspeakers. The HD 620S headphones are lightweight and extremely comfortable, with soft, artificial leather earpads and a padded headband. The headphones come with a detachable 6-foot audio cable that can be upgraded, if desired, and can be stored in the included soft drawstring carry pouch.

Transducers: The HD 620S is equipped with premium 42mm dynamic drivers with 38mm diaphragms. The drivers have ultra-light 150Ω aluminum voice coils that have a quick response. Inside the earcup, the drivers are angled to direct the sound toward your ear canal.

Headphone Cable: The HD 620S comes with a flexible 1.8-meter (70") cable that attaches to the left earcup with a twist-locking 2.5mm plug. The cable has a straight 3.5mm (1/8") plug for listening to your portable digital audio player or other components with a 3.5mm output. A screw-on 3.5mm-to-6.3 adapter is included for use with professional studio equipment, headphone amps, and home components equipped with a 1/4" headphone jack.
