Overview: The eufy Security Floodlight Cam E340 (T8425121) is an outdoor security camera with dual lenses and a bright floodlight for protecting your home and property. The camera has a 3K wide angle camera and a 2K telephoto camera. The cameras are mounted on a pan/tilt mechanism that can follow the target so you don\’t miss a thing. The Floodlight cam is hardwired into your home\’s electrical wiring, and can replace an existing floodlight fixture. The Floodlight Cam E340 has a microSD slot for local video storage (no card included), or you can connect it wirelessly to the optional HomeBase 3 (S380) for even more storage. With local and HomeBase storage, there\’s no need to subscribe to cloud-based video storage plans.

Dual Cameras: Floodlight Cam E340 is actually two cameras in one. One camera has a 2.8mm wide-angle lens shows you the full picture with a wide field of view, producing video with 3K resolution (2880 x 1620). The other camera has an 8mm telephoto lens, producing 2K video (2304 x 1296) with lots of detail at distances up to 50 feet. Both images appear in the same frame. With Hybrid 8x zoom (3x optical/8x digital), you can enlarge the image for a clear, view of small details like license plates.

Field of View: The field of view of the wide-angle camera is 135° diagonal, 110° horizontal, and 58° vertical. The telephoto camera\’s field of view is 46° diagonal, 41° horizontal, and 23° vertical.

Pan/Tilt: The camera features a rotating head that can pan a full 360° and tilt 60° to give you a panoramic view of your property. Once the onboard AI detects and identifies a desired target (human, vehicle, etc.), the camera will lock onto the target and follow it as long as it remains in the area. The camera can simultaneously zoom in to maximize clarity and capture details.

Floodlights: The Floodlight Cam E340 is equipped with two adjustable LED floodlight panels that can illuminate your home or yard. Each panel has 16 LEDs that produce up to 2000 lumens of bright, natural white light (4000 Kelvin). The floodlights can be turned on manually in the eufy Security app, or automatically when motion is detected to deter intruders.

Power: The Floodlight Camera is powered by your home\’s household current (100-240VAC 50/60 Hz). It is hardwired (line, ground, neutral) to an electrical junction box via the included mounting bracket. If you are not comfortable working with electricity, you should consult a licensed electrician.

Installation: The Floodlight Camera can be mounted vertically on a wall or hung from a ceiling or overhang (such as a soffit). If mounting from an overhang, you must reinstall the mounting base from the back of the camera to the top.

Active Zones: The camera can detect motion in its field of view. Built-in AI can recognize if the motion is made by a human, vehicle, or pet. To reduce false alarms, you can establish Active Zones (in the eufy Security app) to concentrate the motion detection in specific areas. By eliminating areas of high activity, such as traffic on the street, there are fewer false alarms.

Color Night Vision: The Floodlight Cam E340\’s primary and secondary cameras have f/1.6 aperture lenses. The CMOS image sensors are 1/2.7" (primary) and 1/2.8" (secondary). In addition to the lenses and sensitivity of the image sensors, three 850nm IR (infrared) LEDs help give the camera the ability to capture color video in low light. The IR Night Vision can illuminate a human body up to 50 feet away in the dark, and can enable face detection at up to 30 feet.

Wi-Fi: The camera connects to your home\’s 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi network, allowing you to view live and recorded video from your smartphone via the eufy Security app. Floodlight Cam E340 is also compatible with the S380 HomeBase (HomeBase 3) for additional video storage and improved wireless range. HomeBase 3 can connect to multiple cameras, giving you views of your entire property inside and out.

Durability: The Floodlight Cam E340 is able to operate in any kind of weather and at extreme temperatures. It is rated IP65 for weather resistance, with an operating temperature range is -4°F to 104°F (-20°C to 40°C).

eufy Security App: The eufy Security app lets you view live or recorded video from your smartphone or tablet, plus engage visitors through two-way audio. You can set up motion detection and customize activity zones in the critical areas around your home. When motion is detected, the app will send you instant notifications. The app lets you make adjustments to the motion detection, set the video quality, and other settings. You can also use the app to turn the floodlights on or off manually, automatically triggered by motion, or to set up a lighting schedule. The app is compatible with Android devices running operating system 8.0 and up, and iOS devices running iOS 11.0 or later. The videos can be viewed on a web portal instead of your phone, and on Macs running macOS 11.0 or later and a Mac with Apple M1 chip.

Voice Assistants: The Floodlight Cam E340 can be controlled by voice commands through Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. You can see what\’s happening around your home at any time with live video feeds on Smart displays, such as the Google Nest Hub or the Amazon Echo Show.
