Overview: The eufy Security SoloCam S340 (T81701W1) is a wireless outdoor security camera with dual lenses and a solar panel. The camera has a 3K wide angle camera and a 2K telephoto camera. The cameras are mounted on a pan/tilt mechanism that can follow the target so you don\’t miss a thing. Its rechargeable battery is kept charged with the included solar panel. The panel can be mounted to the top of the camera, or mounted up to 20\’ away using the provided extension cable. The SoloCam S340 has 8 GB of built-in video storage, and can connect wirelessly to the optional HomeBase 3 (S380) for even more storage. With local and HomeBase storage, there\’s no need to subscribe to cloud-based video storage plans.

Dual Cameras: SoloCam S340 is actually two cameras in one. One camera has a wide-angle lens shows you the full picture with a 135° field of view, producing video with 3K resolution (2880 x 1620). The other camera has a telephoto lens, producing 2K video (2304 x 1296) with lots of detail at distances of up to 50 feet. Both images appear in the same frame. With Hybrid 8x zoom (3x optical/8x digital), you can enlarge the image for a clear, view of small details like license plates.

Pan/Tilt: The camera features a rotating head that can pan a full 360° and tilt 70° to give you a panoramic view of your property. Once the onboard AI detects and identifies a desired target (human, vehicle, etc.), the camera will lock onto the target and follow it as long as it remains in the area. The camera can simultaneously zoom in to maximize clarity and capture details.

Battery Power/Solar Charging: The SoloCam S340 is equipped with a 10,000mAh rechargeable battery. Before installing the camera, you should fully charge the battery for approximately 8 hours with a 5V/2A USB-C charging adapter (sold separately). On its own, the fully charged battery can provide approximately 3 months of battery life. The included SolarPlus™ solar panel can forever keep the battery charged. It converts up to 25% of available sunlight into energy, which is approximately 51% better than the competition. Throughout a typical day, SoloCam S340 uses 100 to 200mAh of energy. With 2 hours of optimal sunlight, the solar panel can collect and store 800 to 1200 mAh per day, so the battery stays fully charged. The 2.2W solar panel can be mounted to the top of the camera and connected with its 6" attached USB-C cable. If the camera is not mounted in direct sunlight, you can mount the solar panel up to 10 feet away when you use the included USB-C extension.

Color Night Vision: The SoloCam S340 has a bright f/1.6 aperture lens, allowing it to capture more light. Even at night, the camera can capture color video in low light out to about 26 feet.

Wi-Fi: The camera connects to your home\’s 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, allowing you to view live and recorded video from your smartphone via the eufy Security app. SoloCam S340 is also compatible with the S380 HomeBase (HomeBase 3) for additional video storage and improved wireless range. HomeBase 3 can connect to multiple cameras, giving you views of your entire property inside and out.

Durability: The SoloCam S340 is able to operate in any kind of weather and at extreme temperatures. Its operating temperature range is -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C).

eufy Security App: The eufy Security app lets you view live or recorded video from your smartphone or tablet, plus engage visitors through two-way audio. You can set up motion detection and customize activity zones in the critical areas around your home. When motion is detected, the app will send you instant notifications. The app lets you make adjustments to the motion detection, set the video quality, and other settings. The app is compatible with Android devices running operating system 8.0 and up, and iOS devices running iOS 11.0 or later. The videos can be viewed on a web portal instead of your phone, and on Macs running macOS 11.0 or later and a Mac with Apple M1 chip.

Voice Assistants: The SoloCam S340 can be controlled by voice commands through Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. You can see what\’s happening around your home at any time with live video feeds on Smart displays, such as the Google Nest Hub or the Amazon Echo Show.
