Overview: The Marshall Major IV on-ear headphones are lightweight and can be used with or without an audio cable. The built-in rechargeable battery gives you over 80 hours of playback time on a single charge. You can listen via Bluetooth 5.0, or plug the headphones into your audio source. The ear cups are hinged so you can fold them inside the headband for easy transport in a briefcase or purse. The Major IVs come with a coiled audio cable and a USB charging cable.

Drivers: The Major IV headphones are equipped with large 40mm, custom-tuned dynamic drivers that feature a wide frequency response. The headphones deliver the signature Marshall sound with thunderous bass, smooth midrange, and crystal clear highs.

Controls: The right earcup features a single control knob that enables you to power the headphones on or off, pair with your smartphone or Bluetooth audio source, control your music playback, and answer/end/reject phone calls. It can also control the volume, and activate your phone\’s native voice assistant.

Battery: The built-in rechargeable battery provides over 80 hours of wireless playback time on a single charge. The battery can be charged in approximately 3 hours when plugged in to a USB power source via the included USB-C cable. A 15-minute Quick Charge gives you approximately 15 hours of listening. You can also charge the headphones wirelessly by placing the right earcup face down on a Qi-compatible wireless charging pad (sold separately). The ear cups have matte silicone piping around the ear cap to keep the headphones securely on the charging pad. While the headphones are charging, the LED indicator on the right earcup will glow red through orange to green (0% to 100%).

Audio Cable: The Major IV headphones come with a 52"
coiled cable and a right-angled 3.5mm plug for connecting to your audio source. The 3.5mm receptacle on the right ear cup can be used for wired listening, or for sharing your music with a companion (while you listen wirelessly).

Marshall Bluetooth App: Although you can use the Major IVs without an app, the companion Marshall Bluetooth app provides additional support for your headphones. With the app, you can check the battery status of the headphones at a glance, and customize the sound with the equalizer. You can select a preset EQ curve or create and save your own. When firmware updates become available, you can update the headphones through the app. The Marshall Bluetooth app is available for iPhone and iPod touch (requires iOS 14.0 or later) and Android devices (requires Android 7.0 and up).
