Overview: Ring\’s new Smart Lighting products can light specific areas around the exterior of your home for added safety and security. This Solar Floodlight can illuminate your driveway, yard, and high-traffic areas when motion is detected. The Solar Floodlight can turn itself on automatically when it detects motion, in sync with other Ring Smart Lights*, or manually through the Ring App*. The Solar Floodlight comes with a 2-watt solar panel and a rechargeable quick-release battery, and can easily replace
an existing floodlight, or be installed in a new location. The light comes with installation hardware, and is protected by a 1-year limited warranty.

Ring Bridge: The Ring Bridge integrates Ring Smart Lights, Motion Sensors, and Transformers into your Ring system. The Bridge uses your home Wi-Fi to connect to the Ring app. It also connects to other Ring Smart Lights using a proprietary long-range protocol. During setup on the Ring app, you can control groups of lights at once, and receive notifications via the app when any light or motion sensor detects movement. You can also integrate Smart Lights with Ring Doorbells or Security Cameras for enhanced security, and control the lights via voice control with Alexa. Without the Bridge, Ring Smart Lights function only as standard motion-sensing lights.

Solar Floodlight: The Ring Solar Floodlight has two independently adjustable, high-efficiency LED lights that illuminate the important areas of your home with 1200 lumens of brightness, at a 3500K Color Temperature. The light has an adjustable auto shutoff time of 30 seconds to 2 minutes. The Solar Floodlight has two slots for the Ring Quick Release Battery, and includes one battery. Adding a second battery keeps your Floodlight illuminated for longer periods. A large solar panel is included to charge the batteries during the day. You can also remove the batteries and charge them via the included USB cable.

Motion Detection: The Ring Solar Floodlight features adjustable motion detection with a field of view of up to 180°. It has a range of up to 70 feet, with the detection angle dependent upon the distance from the unit. The motion detector unit is mounted to the Solar Floodlight fixture with a 4-way adjustable joint which allows you to aim the detector in any direction or angle.

Installation: The Solar Floodlight is designed to be
mounted on an exterior wall of your home using the included hardware. The
included mounting bracket installs directly onto a wood surface. For installing on a masonry surface, such as stucco or brick, you\’ll need to drill holes with a 3/16" bit, and insert the included wall anchors before inserting the screws. The included Ring Solar Panel can be installed within 13 feet of the Floodlight where it can get plenty of direct sunlight. The panel can be adjusted to multiple angles to help you find the best position.

Weather Resistant: The Solar Floodlight is designed to be used outdoors.
It has an IP66 rating, and is resistant to inclement weather and temperature extremes (-4°F
to 122°F).
