Overview: The Satco/Nuvo Wi-Fi 4" LED RGBTW Low Profile Downlight (S11560) installs flush in the ceiling inside a 4.25" cutout. It comes with a hardwired remote driver junction box for easy installation. The slim fit downlight is recommended for indoor locations, including wet areas. The LED features 540 lumens of output in 16-million colors and five selectable color temperatures. It is controllable from the Starfish Smart Lighting app. You can also control it with popular voice assistants, as well as SmartThings. The light connects to your Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz) without a hub. The downlight carries a 5-year warranty.

Wi-Fi: The downlight works with your home\’s Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz network and is controllable with a mobile device. Each Starfish light and light fixture has a Wi-Fi-enabled chip that is securely connected to a TLS 1.2 encrypted cloud platform to protect your privacy and ensure the highest level of security.

Dimmable/Tunable: Using the app, you can turn the light on and off, and dim or brighten its output. The downlight provides up to 16 million colors and thousands of shades of white light from 2000K (warm white) to cool white (5000K). You can choose from five preset color temperatures in the app: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K.

Installation Overview: The 4" LED downlight can be installed in new or existing construction with a 4.25" cutout in up to 1" drywall. The low profile downlight is only about 1" high, and has two torsion springs to hold it firmly against the drywall. A 1" white plastic frame encircles the LED light, giving the fixture a total diameter of 5". The frame is only approximately 1/8" thick for a low profile look. The remote driver junction box can be installed out of the way on the joist or other area. There are three wires to connect inside the J-box with the supplied quick-connect terminals. The connecting cable is a total of 28" in length and has a proprietary plug to allow you to install the downlight and driver box at different times. A longer driver extension cable is available directly from Satco, if needed.

Starfish Smart Lighting App: Satco\’s Starfish Smart Lighting app puts control of your home\’s lighting in the palm of your hand. With the app, you can control individual or groups of light bulbs. You can set schedules for your daily routines, to simulate occupancy, or for safety and security. The app also has a timer feature to save energy. With tunable and variable color bulbs, you can create a mood, set dynamic scenes, or paint your room with light. Multiple users can use the app to personalize their space, and you can control your lights from anywhere. The Starfish Smart Lighting app is compatible with iPhone and iPod touch (iOS 11.0 or later) and Android devices with version 4.4 and up.

Voice Assistants: The Starfish Smart Lighting app integrates with many of the leading Voice Assistants, including Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri (through Siri Shortcuts). The app is also compatible with SmartThings for total home integration.

California\’s Title 24: This downlight complies with California\’s Title 24 (T24), which means it meets the energy efficiency standards set by the California Energy Commission.
