Picture Frame: The Samsung Music Frame bridges the gap between decor and audio by delivering audio via WiFi and Bluetooth in the form of a picture frame. Picture frames are a familiar furnishing that can be placed anywhere, reflecting each individual’s taste and personality based on the kind of art being displayed. The Music Frame draws inspiration from ordinary picture frames, allowing your to listen to music as your appreciate your photograph or picture. The Music Frame holds an 8×10 picture or photograph.

Speaker Technology: Get clear and uniform sound anywhere in the room from the Music Frame\’s high quality, 3-way stereo speaker system. Its patented wide-range speaker technology surrounds you with balanced audio no matter where you are in the room.

• SpaceFit Sound Pro: With SpaceFit Sound Pro, you get room-filling sound calibrated to your space. The Music Frame analyzes your environment and automatically optimizes the audio accordingly for an accurate and clear sound.
• Adaptive Sound: Adaptive Sound lets you hear dialog and vocals better, even at low volume, with intelligently optimized audio. Voices are analyzed in real time to pull out the most important audio based on the type of content.
• Q-Symphony: You can even utilize the Music Frame and Samsung\’s Q-Symphony audio technology for a more captivating TV viewing experience. For a richer stereo sound from your compatible 2024-up Samsung TV, you can position two Music Frames on either side of your TV. For surround sound, you can combine a compatible 2024-up Samsung TV and a 2024-up Samsung speaker with the Music Frame on the rear wall to act as a surround speaker.

Wireless Audio Streaming: You are able to wirelessly stream music, podcasts, and other audio content from a variety of online services and devices to the Samsung Music Frame via WiFi or Bluetooth.

• WiFi Certified: The Samsung Music Frame features built-in 2.4GHz/5GHz dual-band WiFi (802.11ac) for a wireless network connection to your home\’s network WiFi router. A wireless WiFi network connection is required for Amazon Alexa, Google Cast, and Apple AirPlay 2; as well as Tidal Connect and Spotify Connect. Use the SmartThings app (for Apple iOS and Android OS) to setup a WiFi wireless connection. The speaker system is not equipped with an Ethernet jack for a hardwired network connection.
• Built-in Bluetooth: The Samsung Music Frame features built-in Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connection between the speaker system and your Bluetooth-enabled source device for wireless music streaming. You can wirelessly stream stored music and music apps from your Bluetooth-enabled devices; like your smartphone, tablet, computer, or laptop to the Samsung Music Frame and enjoy music with high quality stereo sound, all without wires. You can pair multiple devices with the Music Frame, but only one device can be used for playback at a time. The Music Frame\’s Bluetooth function has a wireless range of approximately 32.8\’.
• Tap Sound: Tap Sound automatically connects your compatible Android mobile device to the soundbar via Bluetooth. Simply tap the top of the Music Frame with your compatible Samsung mobile device to play audio from your mobile device through the Soundbar. The Tap Sound feature must be setup within the SmartThings App on your compatible Android mobile device. Tap sound is only compatible with select Samsung mobile devices with Android OS 8.1 and above (not compatible with Apple iOS and other mobile devices).

Built-In Alexa with Microphone: The Samsung Music Frame features built-in Alexa with an integrated microphone for hands-free voice recognition and control. Use your voice to access and control your favorite online music services – such as Amazon Music, Apple Music, Pandora, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, Tidal, Spotify Connect, and more. Simply ask for your favorite artist or song, or request a specific genre or mood. You can also search for music by lyrics, when a song or album was released, or let Alexa pick the music for you. In addition, you can also use the Music Frame\’s built-in Alexa and microphone like any other Alexa Echo device and ask non-music related commands (like information about the weather, traffic, news, sports, etc) or have Alexa control your smart home devices. You\’ll need to download the Amazon Alexa App (for Apple iOS and Android OS) onto your compatible smartphone or tablet device. In the SmartThings app (for Apple iOS and Android OS), you will need to change the speaker\’s name to one that can be recognized by Amazon Alexa.

Google Cast: Google Cast lets you cast many of your favorite music apps from your Android or Apple iOS device to the Music Frame. You\’ll be able to cast many of your favorite internet radio stations, online music services, and podcast to the Samsung sound bar speaker system. Simply tap the Cast button from a Google Cast compatible app on your Apple iOS or Android OS device to start streaming to the Music Frame. While you are casting, you can still use your phone to answer a phone call, play a game, send a text, and even leave the room – all without interrupting what\’s playing through the Samsung speaker system. Use the Google Home app (for Apple iOS and Android OS) to setup Google Cast on your mobile device and the Music Frame speaker system.

• Music & Radio: Google Cast streams audio directly from the cloud, so you get the 24-bit/96kHz sound quality and the ability to enjoy crystal clear sound exactly the way the artist intended. Google Cast supports FLAC, WAV, AAC, and MP3 music files. Play music from popular music services and search by artist, song, genre, album playlist, mood, or activity. You can also listen to your favorite internet radio stations and podcasts. Compatible music and internet radio apps include Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify, Pandora, TuneIn, iHeart Radio, YouTube Music, and more (subscriptions and fees will apply). You\’ll also be able to stream your favorite music, playlists, podcasts, and more that are stored on your compatible Android device to the Music Frame. You cannot stream stored content on an Apple iOS device using Google Cast. If you\’re on your laptop or computer, you can also cast any music streaming website through the Chrome web browser to the speaker.
• Multiroom Audio: The Music Frame delivers multiroom audio capability by adding additional Samsung Link Series and other Google Cast speakers (sold separately ) to create a whole house audio experience. You can play the same Google Cast compatible music app (like Tidal, Spotify, or Pandora) on all speakers or groups of speakers in different rooms of your home. You\’ll be able control the multiroom audio system from the Google Home app on your Apple iOS or Android device, or using the built-in Google Assistant and your voice.
• Optional Voice Control: With a Google Assistant enabled smart speaker (sold separately), you can use your voice to control playback of compatible Google Cast music apps. With a simple voice command, you can play music from Chromecast compatible music services by artist, song, genre, album, playlist, mood or activity. You can also turn up the volume, skip to the next track, or stop the music.

AirPlay 2 with Siri: AirPlay 2 is an advanced and easy-to-use wireless multiroom audio platform for iTunes, Apple Music, and other compatible Apple iOS apps. With AirPlay 2 you can play any audio from your Apple iOS device (running iOS 11.4 or later) or Mac computer (running OS X 10.13.2) on the Samsung speaker system and other compatible AirPlay 2 speakers throughout your home. You can choose to play audio in one room, play the same audio in grouped rooms, or play the same audio in every room. If you are an Apple Music subscriber, you can even play different music in different rooms (you can control and group directly from Apple\’s Music App and Home app on your Apple iOS device). You\’ll be able to ask Siri-enabled devices (like your Apple iPhone, iPad, or Watch) to control playback of your Apple Music content on the speaker system. You can even watch videos and movies from YouTube and Netflix on your compatible Apple iOS device or Mac computer with perfectly synced audio on the Samsung Music Frame system.

Spotify & Tidal Connect: The integration of Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect will enable Spotify and Tidal users to instantly select and wirelessly stream music to the Samsung Music Frame from within the Spotify app or Tidal app from your Apple iOS or Android OS device, as well as your Windows PC or Mac computer.

• Spotify: Spotify is a digital music service that gives you on-demand access to one of the largest music libraries in the world. Spotify makes it easier than ever to discover, manage, and share music with your friends. You can browse music by artist, album, track, or most popular; and create your own music library with customized playlists. Spotify offers free and paid services.
• Tidal: Tidal is a global streaming service that offers over 30 million songs in high-fidelity CD sound quality. Tidal has two pricing tiers; either $9.99 or $19.99 a month. Both pricing levels allow you to access Tidal\’s entire music library. The $19.99 tier has the added benefit of high-fidelity sound at CD-level quality.

Dolby Atmos Music: The Music Frame supports Dolby Atmos Music for wall to wall and floor to ceiling sound, immersing you in every dimension of your music. While audio mixed in stereo is limited to left and right channels with elements localized within the horizontal plane, spatial audio technologies, such as Dolby Atmos allow creators to place individual sounds all around you in 3D space for a more immersive and realistic listening experience. To enjoy music in 3D spatial audio, the Music Frame needs to be connected to your WiFi network and ISP (internet service provider) in order to stream Dolby Atmos Music content from a supported online service – such as Apple Music (via AirPlay 2), Amazon Music Unlimited (via Alexa) and Tidal (via Tidal Connect or Chromecast built-in).

Optical Digital Input: In addition to WiFi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, the Music Frame offers an optical (toslink) digital input for connect an external digital audio device. The optical digital input supports Dolby Digital and 2ch PCM (not compatible with DTS and other multichannel audio formats).

Roon Tested: Being Roon Tested means that Samsung and Roon have collaborated to ensure you have the best experience using Roon software and Samsung equipment together, so you can just enjoy the music.

SmartThings App: With the SmartThings app, users can set the equalizer settings to their preferences. By fine-tuning the audio, users can enjoy more vibrant sound and immersive content

Mounting Options: The Samsung Music Frame can simply be placed on a flat tabletop surface using the included stand, or mounted on the wall using the supplied bracket and hardware.

Power Requirements: The Music Frame comes with an AC power adapter (attached 6.5\’ DC cord) and 5\’ AC power cord that will need to be plugged into an AC power outlet or surge protector/line-conditioner (sold separately). The Music Frame does not offer battery power.
