Overview: The Nanoleaf Matter Smart Multicolor Outdoor String Lights light up your indoor or outdoor venue with vivid colors and warm-to-cool white light. The 49\’ (15 meter) string light includes 20 uniquely-shaped LED bulbs, spaced about 2-1/2 feet apart. The string lights connect wirelessly via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Matter over Wi-fi, letting you control the brightness and color of the LED lights through the Nanoleaf app. The lights are powered by a 24-watt (12V 2A) AC adapter, and have an in-line control box. This Smarter Kit can be expanded out to 147 feet (45 meters) with the addition of one or two Expansion Packs (sold separately).

Placement: The String Lights are designed for indoor or outdoor use. The bulbs are IP65 water-resistant and weatherproof, and can be used in wet areas, but not submersible. The controller is IP67-rated, and the AC adapter is IP44. You can connect up to two String Light expansion packs end-to-end via a waterproof connector provided at the end of the cord. One power adapter and one controller can be used to power and control the sets connected in tandem.

Installation: Each bulb is equipped with a loop for securing the light to a nail, screw, hook, or zip tie. You can also string a steel cable across a room or area and string the bulbs along the cable. The AC adapter and in-line controller have a 100" attached power cable that plugs into the end of the string light cable with a waterproof cap.

Bulbs: The Smart Multicolor Outdoor String Lights feature 20 RGBWIC LEDs, and produce over 16 million colors with Red, Green, Blue, and Tunable White LED chips at 55 lumens (average). The bulbs are equipped with a multifaceted, shatterproof plexiglas (PMMA) globe. Each bulb is individually addressable, allowing you to control them one-by-one through the Nanoleaf app. Bulb dimensions: Diameter 1.883" Height 4.5" (including socket).

Controller: The in-line controller has four buttons to perform the following actions:

• Power: Press 1x to turn lights on or off; Press and hold for 10 seconds to Reset
• Play: Press 1x to skip to next scene; Press 2x to cycle through individual colors
• Up: Press 1x to increase brightness
• Down: Press 1x to decrease brightness

Wireless Connections: The Nanoleaf String Lights work with your home\’s Wi-Fi network (802.11 b/g/n, 2.4 GHz), Bluetooth (BLE), or with Matter over Wi-Fi. Using the Nanoleaf app, you can turn the lights on and off, dim or brighten the bulbs\’ output, and choose from up to 16-million colors or thousands of shades of white light. You can choose a different color or shade for each of the 20 bulbs, light them all the same color, or create dynamic flowing and changing light shows.

Nanoleaf App: The Nanoleaf app puts control of your Outdoor String Lights, and all of your Nanoleaf devices, in the palm of your hand. The app offers multiple scene modes and music modes that react to the beat of the music. The Nanoleaf mobile app is compatible with Apple iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 15.4 or later, and with Android smartphones running Android 9.0 and up. The Nanoleaf desktop app can be loaded to your Windows 10 or 11 computer or Mac with macOS 12 or later.

Smart Ecosystems: The Nanoleaf Matter Multicolor Outdoor String Lights can be connected to a smart home ecosystem via Matter over Wi-Fi, which requires a Matter-compatible hub (such as Apple HomePod mini or HomePod 2nd Gen, Google Home Mini or Nest Hub 2nd Gen, and Amazon Echo 4th Gen.). You can access your lights remotely, set and operate your lights on schedules, and control your lights using voice commands when connected via Apple Home (Siri), Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Razer Chroma, or Samsung SmartThings.
