Dolby Atmos Certified 3.1.2 System: The Polk Signa S4 Dolby Atmos 3.1.2 soundbar with wireless subwoofer delivers powerful, crystal clear, cinematic 3D surround sound. The soundbar\’s advanced seven-driver array and the included wireless subwoofer deliver a lifelike Atmos listening experience with a huge soundstage and effortless bass. With the Signa S4, you\’ll hear sounds flying overhead courtesy of up-firing speakers that support Atmos height channels, and any non-Atmos content you watch can also be enjoyed in a virtual surround sound experience.

• Active Soundbar Speaker: The active soundbar speaker\’s advanced seven speaker array was designed to deliver a lifelike Dolby Atmos 3.1.2 listening experience. Its dedicated center channel provides crystal clear dialog, while its optimized left and right tweeters and woofers deliver a wide sound stage. Plus, dual up-firing speakers take advantage of Atmos height channels to send sounds over your head to create an immersive 3D surround effect.
• Wireless Powered Subwoofer: The inlcuded powered subwoofer wirelessly connects to the active soundbar speaker with a wireless range of approximately 30\’. The subwoofer connects automatically on start-up, so no additional pairing is needed. The wireless powered sub houses a down-firing 5.9375\” long-throw, high-excursion woofer that is driven by a built-in amplifier for deep, extended bass. The 5.9375" woofer is paired with a down-firing low-turbulence, flared port tube that keeps the bass tight and precise.

Customizable Sound: The Signa S4 allows you to customize the sound with Polk\’s patented Voice Adjust technology, one-button Sound Presets, and Bass Adjust.

• Voice Adjust Technology: Polk\’s patented Voice Adjust technology combines with the soundbar\’s dedicated center channel for clear, easy-to-understand dialogue. Voice Adjust technology dramatically increases vocal clarity and volume level for crystal clear dialog no matter what you\’re watching. You can customize the voice levels in the soundbar however you prefer to reproduce clear, crisp dialog and never miss a single word of your favorite movie, TV show, or sporting event.
• Listening Modes: Select Movie, Music, or Night mode to optimize the soundbar for your listening application. Movie mode provides a virtual \”theater-like\” surround sound, while Music mode is suitable for enjoying music in stereo. Night Mode compresses the soundbar\’s dynamic range (difference between loud and soft sounds) to make audio easier to hear at low volumes.
• Bass Adjust: Bass Adjust controls bass on both the sound bar and sub ensuring maximum impact and blending.

HDMI 2.1 eARC: The Polk Signa S4 is equipped with one HDMI 2.1 eARC jack to connect the soundbar to your TV\’s HDMI eARC or ARC input. The HDMI eARC jack allows audio from your TV to be sent through the soundbar system. The HDMI eARC jack supports Dolby Atmos (3.1.2), Dolby TrueHD (7.1), Dolby Digital Plus (7.1), and Dolby Digital (5.1).

• Some televisions will only pass 2ch PCM through the ARC-enabled HDMI input from devices connected to the TV.
• The HDMI eARC jack does not support DTS audio formats (including DTS:X).
• The HDMI eARC jack supports audio transmission only; not compatible with video transmission.

Analog & Digital Audio Inputs: In addition to HDMI eARC connectivity, the Polk Signa S4 is outfitted with an optical (toslink) digital input and analog stereo minijack (3.5mm) input. The optical (toslink) digital input 2ch PCM and 5.1ch Dolby Digital.

Bluetooth Audio Streaming: Thanks to built-in Bluetooth 4.2, you are able to wirelessly stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content from your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer to the Polk Signa S4 soundar system. You will still control playback functions and view song/artist/album information from your Bluetooth-enabled source device.

• Supported Codecs: In addition to supporting Bluetooth\’s standard SBC codec, the Signa S4 also supports AAC for high quality playback from Bluetooth-enabled Apple iOS devices (including iPod, iPhone, and iPad).
• Multi-Device Pairing: You can pair up to 8 Bluetooth source devices, but only one device can be connected and used for playback at a time.

Remote Control: The included IR remote control provides wireless operation of the Polk Signa S4 soundbar speaker system. In addition, the Polk Signa S4 offers support for HDMI-CEC, built-in preset remote codes, and TV remote control learning.

• HDMI CEC: If your TV is connected to the Polk Signa S4 via HDMI and your TV supports HDMI CEC, you can control the volume and mute functions of the soundbar speaker system from your TV\’s remote control.
• Preset Codes: Built-in preset codes allow for most Samsung, LG, Vizio, and Sony TV remotes to control the Polk Signa S4\’s volume and mute functions right out of the box (no programming required). TV must be manufactured within the last 5 years.
• IR Learning Function: If you have another brand of television that is not listed above, or you have a cable or satellite receiver, you can also program the Polk Signa S4 soundbar speaker system to respond to one of these remotes (remote functions include – Power, Volume, and Mute).

Mounting Options: The active soundbar speaker can simply be table-top mounted or mounted on a wall using its integrated keyhole slots (mounting screws not included). The soundbar should be centered below or above your television. The wireless powered subwoofer can be place nearly anywhere in the room, up to 30\’ away. For optimum results, place the wireless power subwoofer along the same wall as the soundbar.

Power Requirements: The Signa S4\’ active soundbar speaker and wireless powered subwoofer each come with a detachable 59" AC power cord that will need to be plugged into an AC wall outlet or surge protector/line conditioner (sold separately – see Accessories Tab).
