Overview: The Audio-Technica ATH-WB LTD over-ear headphone is based on the ATH-WB2022 60th Anniversary edition. These passive, analog headphones feature the same beautiful wood housings as the WB2022, and come with balanced and unbalanced cables. They also includes a suede-like pouch for storing or taking with you wherever you go. The ATH-WB LTD headphones are a special limited-edition model with only 300 units manufactured for distribution throughout the world.

Wood Housings: The striking wood housings of the ATH-WB LTD are crafted from a selection of intertwined marbled maple, walnut, and mahogany wood. The combination of different woods is not only beautiful, but also absorbs vibrations, and provides excellent acoustic properties.

Construction: The headphones are built on a strong, lightweight aluminum alloy frame. The earcups swivel so you can lay them flat for convenient storage in the soft carrying pouch. The ear pads and headband are covered with soft, durable sheepskin to provide comfort for those long listening sessions.

Drivers: The ATH-WB LTD feature exclusive 45mm HD dynamic drivers that are adapted from the ATH-WB2022. The drivers were specially tuned to provide the best listening experience of an analog headphone. The headphones have a wide 5Hz – 50kHz frequency range, and are compatible with High-Res Audio with its great musical detail.

Cables: The headphones come with two cables — one balanced and one unbalanced — with A2DC (Audio Designed Detachable Coaxial) connectors on each ear cup. Both cables are 4 feet in length. The unbalanced cable terminates into a right-angled, 3.5mm stereo plug for use with portable audio devices. The included 3.5mm-to-6.3mm (1/8"-to-1/4") adapter lets you connect the headphones to most home audio equipment and professional audio consoles. The balanced cable features a 4mm connector for use with many D/A converters and headphone amplifiers. The 4-conductor balanced cable has + and – leads for both the left and channels for better channel separation and sound quality.
