Overview: The Lorex Add-on Motion Sensor (AM41TK) helps you monitor areas that aren\’t covered by video cameras. This sensor uses Passive Infrared (PIR) technology to detect movement in your home, and sends a signal to your security system. It works with the Lorex Sensor Hub or with the Lorex Smart Home Security Center. Up to 10 sensors can be connected to the Sensor Hub, or up to 32 to the Smart Home Security Center.

Installation: The Motion Sensor measures infrared light (IR) that radiates or reflects from objects in its field of view. When the "heat signature" changes, indicating movement, the sensor sends a signal to the hub. The Motion Sensor detects general movement within a range of 26 feet and within a detection angle of 110°. It is powered by a CR2430 coin cell battery (installed). The sensor has a mounting bracket that can be attached to a wall, ceiling, tabletop, or shelf via the supplied adhesive pads.
